PSWIRL 2005

Pacific South-West Institute of Religious Liberals       http://pswirl.org

We are an extended family, in an atmosphere of mutual respect and acceptance, dedicated to personal growth, developing a larger social consciousness, and welcoming diverse ideas.

Sunday, August 21 through Friday August 26

 Theme Speaker

Marguerite D. Lovett

“Can We Stand The Test?”

Lovett, Minister of the Unitarian/Universalist Church of Long Beach, tells how the inspiring lives of social activists who stood up for free speech and human rights—such as Emma Goldman, Stephen Fritchman, Benjamin B. Forencz and Maude Barlow—will help teach us to slay our own dragons.
